POG just now in $US is 1.7% below ATH (closing day price) and 1.3% below ATH in $A - so why have investors dumping gold stocks today? Can only be two reasons - panic selling due to the fall in the share market with investors panicking and sell everything motto or investors making losses on other stocks (eg tech or AI in US or other markets) and need to raise funds to meet margin calls (this is quite common). Take your pick but remember - THOSE THAT SELL SHARES on any day ARE THE MARGINAL SELLERSand the price sold at rarely reflects the underlying real value of the stock especially in today's market ie today probably only 0.5%-0.6% of SOI will be sold ie 99.5% of SOI were not sold
