Hi Bingo … congratulations on booking your profit and I guess I am the only, or at least main ‘lover’ in your partial ‘hall of fame’ (the one where the painting slipped so it’s a bit skewwhiff )
… and - as well as hanging lopsided, I guess the main reason I even got in there is because I am an example of attachment?

I agree with you this is NOT a road that generally leads to financial profit.
And I do not recommend getting stuck on hope and bias as a path to anyone out there who is similarly inclined!

In the case of Spartan - starting also at an average of 22c I sold a lot of my shares around 40c and under, and then was so full of trepidation I nearly did not participate in that 80c (?) raise .
Since then I’ve sold and bought a few for trade in a different portfolio, and my average price at the main hold is now just under 50c.
-(Elsewhere in my beloveds list I am down more than a dollar a share on one - and a good thing it is that I avoid counting games over there. And have never been in profit on another in almost three years.)

But I think the main lesson in your comments, Bingo is the one on learning.
That’s what this world is all about for me - learning and loving and, mostly , learning myself, and even loving myself despite the mistakes.
    And accepting responsibility !
And I am just enormously lucky I was adopted to an extent by a dear friend who decided to mentor me and showed me what a carousel ride this world can be - even for those who are not swing traders or day traders.

At Spartan right now I feel pretty secure and I intend to sell the lot if things go pear-shaped .
At my other hopeless one I still hope it will turn round and already have sell orders in place.
At my ‘best beloved’ I’ve also been selling a few although buying most of them back into a different portfolio .
And I am still on learning wheels with doing little - non emotional trades - at a few others .

The thing is we are all motivated by different goals and I honestly think both karma and luck are main ingredients for some of us who get involved in the ASX.
And that brings me back to your hall of fame.
My gratitude goes out in a big way also to to ALL of those who have shared their time and knowledge here over several years
I have learned to love you all, as well as this company and most especially @Saragian whose kindness and even love bore me up and broadened my perspective and entertained me and taught me trust during some years where I was at a loss, and not well enough to live much outside the classic definition of ‘hermit’.

    Cheers
, and to all of those out there who have their fists tight stuck in a jar of shares, letting go may be easier than you think and, as Bingo, said, there’s always another ride - not the same but that’s a good thing .
And be discriminating about people if you can’t be about shares!

    And go Spartan
