    Hi @sabine,

    Appreciate your posts and input.

I've also heard the "Uber divers" and "BBQ's" quote, although it was "Taxi drivers" when I first heard it. It makes sense, and is certainly something to look out for. However, I think we are a long way from being at that point, yet. I doubt if many Uber drivers have ever heard of Spartan. It must be one of the toughest questions in investing though, when to sell?

Exuberance, and irrational "crowd" driven speculation, do seem to be key indicators that it is time to sell, but this takes time to build. I think what we are seeing at the moment is just the beginning, the natural fascination and enthusiasm that comes with a good gold find. As word spreads I think we'll see more over the top commentary, especially with the news flow ahead of us, and the current environment for gold in general. I cannot remember a time like it. It seems like everything is lining up for Spartan. Just maybe, this is a case for all of us (especially for those who invested early), of being in the right place at the right time (finally).

I agree with you about the quality of the Spartan thread. I struggle to read most of the other threads on Hot Copper. I am surprised that we have survived for so long without the "down ramping" "non-holder" component, although I do have a long ignore list so maybe I am just filtering them out.

@speculator101 put up a graphic recently that showed a potential second flexure zone around 800m, and when you follow the low grade hits at this depth it makes a lot of sense. Early on, as they were tracking Never Never downward, it did seem that there was a narrower section that contained the higher grade ore, in much the same way as the Pepper deposit is showing in the latest drill results. If you multiple this effect across the deposit, things could get very interesting over the next 6 months. If they happen to uncover the same phenomenon in even just one or two more places, things will probably heat up substantially. On top of this we also have the upcoming MRE's, and the decline, so the news flow will be strong for some time to come. We may just have to get used to a steady growth in "hyperbole".

While I'm at it, a few people have speculated that Develop may get the contract for the decline. I am a shareholder of DVP, and while it would be great if that could happen, I doubt that will be the case. In a recent presentation Bill makes it clear that their Mining Services division is flat out, and knocking back a heap of work. At the 17:30min mark he specifically mentions a great project in WA that he has had to say no to. It is run by an ex-colleague of his and is a company he is a shareholder in. It may not be Spartan that he is referring to, but it sure sounds like us.

Thanks to all of you for your excellent input. Particularly those that have been here for the long hall. I really appreciate all the time and effort that you put in to posting and sharing your thoughts and research etc.
