Gold flirting with its all-time highs set in October in Aussie dollars around $4,230 an ounce. It still has a way to go to beat $2,785 USD top set at that time. High AUD comes with higher AISC for most miners and developers, but that should be offset by significantly better margins (except for the hedgers who are trapped between a low static hedge price for metal produced and their skyrocketing costs).
