To my reading the Simon and board lot have been ahead of the curve all the way fang.
They comprise a highly experienced group with expertise that covers mining, the stock market, legal matters including mergers and more, and -by the sound if it - incredibly good relations with all important entities (except perhaps for one sourpuss who was reportedly scratching his head in confusion last year about why anyone would buy into the 56c capital raise).
There’s also Ramelius, sitting there with a blocking stake, and ready to use it (according to the press), if it’s not happy with the way things are going.
And I have a vested interest too, and I suspect if there are people out there with acquisitive intentions they will have to walk to Simon’s book of rules and not their own.
