If you were around in the mid 1980's you'd remember that after the market died, real estate took off (the reminants of what people salvaged from the market they put into their tax free house) Maybe it is even the sixth sense hat peope new that th inflation tsunami was coming & that inflation is not necessarily bad for debt as long as wages keep up with it (& of course as long as unemployment doesn't come knocking at your door) eg a $100K mortgage in the early 80's was a relatively big one, but 20yrs later inflation had turned it into peanuts (relativel speaking).
Will it happen like this again .... I'm think there is a very big chance given that every gov in the world is printing money like there is no tomorrow.
