I note on the ASIC website they allow for
Existing exemptions for covered short selling, for example those relating to hedging and arbitrage transactions, will continue in relation to financials;
That looks like a hell of a lot of hedging lol - if I held the stock I'd be emailing ASIC - and asking please explain -no use asking ASX they have a vested interest -
