I think funding can’t be possible without looking at REE results.
but if US wants to give mine a head start(green signal) with GOLD to begin with then conditional(REE) funding news can be good.
to me it’s like bank lending procedure 80/20 rules where bank de-risk on 80% valuation.
Funding can be 80/20 (80 REE/20 GOLD), US government probably want this mine but not going to issue funding without final drill results confirmation.
one day someone advised me that people sitting on high profile jobs with half a million dollars pay checks don’t want to do anything risky, because they don’t want to loose their easy job. They don’t take risks. Same thing here Trump is a risk taker, but who is going to put his/her hands up and say to Trump that give DTR the funding and they will deliver.
Any secretary or high profile official can endorse the product but won’t say directly to Trump to issue funding because then onus is on them and their easy ass job can be risky unless they have direct interest in DTR management side.
