We are always a day behind but yesterday total traded was 4,062,545 of which 592,713 were shorts or 14.59% of the days volume.
Prior to yesterday it was 3% of volume on 8th, 5% on 7th and 6% on 6th.
So these amounts doesn't suggest it is all to do with shorting.
