Well now, o fiery hirsute one, it's not clear to me whether you think the fact that "...the underwriter (and signficant others...) will now own a large chunk of stock at 1c as a proportion of the top 20..." is a good thing or bad.
Frankly, I rejoice in the fact, because I suspect money of that calibre will have far greater expectations of LAT than the 'mums & dads' who might otherwise be pinging their rights stock for a measely one or two cent turn.
Besides, it's not as if ALL shareholders didn't have the opportunity to participate in the rights issue, which was very democratically handled in my view. If the underwriter now how has a larger proportion of the top 20, that could only be because others didn't keep the faith.
No, I think it's great to see LAT's handy little gold project underway at last.
And I'm happy to hold the shares for much higher prices than these.
