I'll just add a few different dimensions to your example.

I'm not sure you can call the average LT buyer in at 8c as there was a hell of a lot of buying/ volume between 10-20c. And then a whole lot more at 20-40c level plus a swag of volume for those poor M&D's above 40c.

You're right about buying and selling at peaks and floors, not many would have been lucky enough to sell at 45c but at .40 there was some negative indications going on so a sell of you're original investment capital plus a healthy profit would have been very prudent for the LT.

I think you would agree that you would be wanting account managers of your Super Fund to be very active growing your account or protecting your capital. Just don't understand why private investors aren't the same.
