There could be a serious case of confirmation bias going on, as in any information that doesn’t further SP is blocked out by group thinking. This would naturally include the attacking and discrediting of any one who dares to have a somewhat negative view or opinion. Those views could endanger the positive feedback loop and therefore need to be stopped immediately no matter what reality or common sense does suggest!
