Funny you should mention $45. On the CSL weekly chart the long term bull market support line, which lasted from Sep 2003 until late Nov 2008, now has a price target of approx $45 if CSL was to head back to it. Since breaking down through this support line in late Nov 2008 CSL has not once returned to test it, something I believe will occur at some point. When this will occur, no idea; but long term I still see good signs for this great Aussie company.
Also, reading today in an email from FNArena that the average price target for the 10 brokers they look at is over $42 for CSL. It is the best rated stock in the database they hold just nobody in the market seems to love it at the moment.
