TA is pretty useless other than the most basic things such as noticing a downtrend/uptrent, break outs and possible resistance levels.

It is all still a guess thou, I commented on someone's TA in the CCU forum, he went on with this stuff, line after line but at the end he concluded there is a breakout about to happen and that it could go either way.

So all in all you are still back at square one where you started, should i or should i not buy?

Fundamental analysis is the key, look how cheap it is & it's future pe. Also throw in some rough "shares to oz in the ground" calculations etc. If those calculations come up good, buy.
