Not sure I buy the external locus of control theory here. Other explorers have managed well during and after the pandemic. COVID-19 was a significant moderating variable not doubt but was not the driver of MAN's poor performance imo. I have long held concerns regarding the level of JAs experience in this space. The addition of the experienced NED has seemingly changed the dynamic and green shoots are appearing. The upcoming acquisition news could well be the catalyst for a long awaited re-rate!
