If you seriously run Linux, and want to be as compatible as possible with mainstream apps, Crossover is well worth the money.

And if you do try it, and manage to get Metastock up an running under it, let me know via here - would be very handy to know.

The reason I recommend that Norgate Premium Data service is that their update apps and support apps all work perfectly under Crossover, unlike some of the other data services. Just works simply and bug-free.
