are logical fallacies.
The statement would be true, if and only if both drugs were successful, had same target/ action, and that crisper edited Car's just work better and were easier to manufacture. But the argument is a fallacy as it is a distraction (red-herring) and a straw-man (distortion) of events / truths which are not even yet eventuated.
Ibuprofen never pushed paracetamol off the market.
Paracetamol has its uses.
Differing brands of ibuprofen advil, nurofen etc., can both survive in the market.
Unless you can tell us that CHM's CAR-NK (will) have exactly the same target, action, efficacy and toxicity, as CRISPR-edited CAR-NKs, then the argument you put forward has no merit.
