Naturally it was about candles.
But he raised the issue of TA and FA, and said, with specific reference to FX, "how can anyone possibly determine the direction of a country's current? There are just so many factors to take into account, it's impossible. So you have to use TA." He was in the industry for decades (teaches now, and I am sure still trades) , he introduced candles to the West while at Merrill. He is not to be taken lightly, as you know.
