Lapdog, good research there. BHP of course, was never exempted from the shorting ban, and attracts as you say much attention from shorters.
They have also turned their attention to banks, with CBA 25%, ANZ 28%.
RE PRICE: BHP ADR's in the USA gapped up to the upper bollinger band on Friday to make yet another high.
The US daily and weekly shows overbought and overdue for a pullback, but this may not readily happen as long as the $US dollar keeps falling.
The $US price is equivalent to a flat $AU35.00 here.
Here, the weekly is oversold, the daily is heading that way too... but the monthly has much headroom.
