@JabraD well under 137500 CNY/T now, hats off to you for calling things right, under 100,000 CNY/t in fact, PMT has risen back off the dollar mark for the time being. I wonder how much further the lithium price has to drop?
Nickel's not very profitable at the moment, cobalt is not profitable, natural graphite is not profitable, REE prices are also not doing well and these are all used in EVs. Lithium still mostly profitable, but low grade "near-term production" projects like Faraday are getting concerning imo and also getting concerning for the likes of CXO with 50% recoveries, when you hear SC6 prices hitting 1000-1200 usd/t.
Corvette is still miles off production, so current lithium price action does not mean too much, in 5 years time it will matter a lot more, anybody's guess where the market is at then, a lot can happen between then and now. PMT's aisc forecast is currently at $710usd/t according to Macquarie.
