Charts are a visual representation of popularity and momentum.
When someone tells you he is a fundamentalist, don't believe for a second he doesn't spend a good couple of minutes looking at the chart before he buys. It's human nature. He probably doesn't even realise he is using his own form of TA.
Fundamentals have never moved a stock. Fundamentals have moved peoples' opinions which have then moved stocks, but that's adding an extra step - sentiment (popularity).
A wonderfully convincing story can be made for almost every stock on the exchange. Its' so easy - they are all big stories in the making!!!...right now it's GDN. Next week it's....
When FMG and PDN superstocks fell say 80% from their 2007 highs in 18 months, had the fundamentals degraded by 80% in that same time frame?? Don't you believe it!!!
