Yes I believe you would continue if it didnt look good. Priority is the shape of the bowl and the dhem. No point in getting 1000m deep and canning. 23 was just meant to look at the shape/center. The fact it had some nickel was a bonus.
Going to need the bottom of 26 to be atleast 10m at 2%+ nickel I reckon to get some real interest..
But clearly a working nickel system is in place.
