You are working towards the twelve month CGT halving on both the free options and the rights shares you've bought. Once you exercise the free options, this will reset the twelve month clock.
There's no reason to convert right away, unless for some reason getting the clock going on the twelve month CGT discount is incredibly important to you. I can't rationalise that but you might. I don't think anyone would recommend you exercising but if you do the company has more money and that's nice.
