thank you for your informative post. I don't know when it will be launched. But I will say I am a part time gamer and I understand what Pentanet aim to achieve. If it works in Australia, it can be huge. But to achieve that they must meet certain milestones. The beta test is a good first step. You can never assume our networks, environment, usage loads will be the same as other models. That's why this implementation must be suited to our individual needs.

Ultimately the trade off will come between having our own high end PC's for gaming or using this service. Not many can afford the high end hardware but....there is a culture of building our own rigs with pride and that will be impacted by Pentanet's system. it's not a negative but merely a cultural consideration.

I have signed up for beta testing and will participate if asked. If that goes well then it'll be a revolution.

I'm certain many on here understand the magnitude of the gaming industry.....
