Oh jeez, it's like watching two favourite uncles fight at Christmas..
I just don't see why there's not room for both. I pick stocks based on FA (product, financials, management, upcoming catalysts etc), then improve my position(s) by using TA (on daily's and weeklys charts, volumes, MACD, bollies and wicks etc) to time my entries, top ups, average-down purchases, and exits.
Im definitely in the 5%.
You can quite clearly make money using either FA or TA, but IMO you'd be a fool to ignore either.
