I do have a position in NMS, but isn't the advocacy on HC a bit overdone?

What I am concerned about is how good is the protection of their IP (intellectual property) and how likely is it that somebody else can can up with an alternative technology that doesn't infringe the patents (assuming there are patents) and is more advantageous than NMS's (cheaper, better welds, etc.)?

I haven't seen any discussion of these aspects. It isn't as though they have found alluvial gold and all they have to do is dig it up.
