chartist view on rand currency chart

I would appreciate a chartist's view on the Rand 1 year currency chart available at the following site:

GVM is negatively impacted be a strenthening Rand (lower XR vs US) and positively impacted by a weakening Rand (higher XR vs US)...The chart shows a recent upturn in the US/Rand XR (ie a weakening of the Rand).

Each colum in the chart is the Start of the month...eg 12 is the Start of the last month of the last calender year. So January showed a marked improvement in the Rand.
