I too use a combination of TA & FA ... I often use TA to identify movers that spark my interest, then I turn to FA to determine just how good the stock is, or how good a resource they have. Then I use TA to pick entry points, top up points ... and then finally exit points.

I dont use charts to "read the future" ... I personally dont believe in that, and I know of no professional chartist worth his salt that does! Charts & TA are representations of PAST sentiment, & while they can provide excellent indications of possible SP direction, they cannot foretell the future ... leave that to tea leaf readers & fortune tellers!
