I've fiddled with the fans but only found them somewhat relative, sometimes. However I haven't read any material on their correct use.
I do use numerous other indicators to those I post but still pretty simple. The market looks at all the information analyses it and thoughtfully places it into a picture for us.

I think its just a matter of finding a few indicators that we can understand the behavior of, and stick to them.
And of course, don't torture the data until it shows us what we want to see LOL
I funnymentalists and chartists are both guilty of this from time to time.
Don't get me wrong, I do funnymentals til the cows come home, but has to be good picture, all the other stuff is just "stories". Brought me undone many a time
