MAcs - any 100k interval service is expensive ($1000+) due to timing belt exchange.
No real benefit in doing clutch at same time as no common remove refits but another expensive job ($1000 odd).
Peresonally Subaru OEM clutches are crap. Designed to be a weak point rather than kill drive trains.
Best option is to go to Subaru performance specialist and get high Compression organic plate clutch. Mine clamps 2000 Lbs per square and has lasted over 100,000 klm. Best a Subi clutch ever did was 40,000. The only issue is greater pedal pressure required (strengthen that left leg mate).
I drive a hotted up Liberty. No WRX for me (yet).
