chartists - the truth

This guy Larry Edelson from Uncommon Wisdom is supposed to be one of the best "chartists" around. He basically says gold might go up or it might go down!? Duh!
Then he says don't buy gold at this price as we are in for a correction (before it goes to $5,000-$7,000.)
Funny thing is, he said the same thing when gold was about $1,500, then when it went higher, he said it may be because of "the Middle East crisis", but not to buy until his charts gave the all clear. He says the same thing now, and yet if it goes higher, there will be another excuse!

Don't be fooled, chartists are like guys that go horse racing with a "system", they are trying to find order or patterns where none exist. These guys are worthless.

(In my slightly less than humble opinion that is ; )
