Its a pretty convincing position they hold currently for a take over, according to the register i think they are 20% plus. You would almost take the view that they paid up on the deposit but they get the rest at half price. Coming from their current position they only need to convince a few more of the big holders plus the little fish (us) and its all over. One interesting thing is that the register does have a few medium size holders that entered at these lower levels, so it wouldn't take much .
Here i go again with my theory. Is there some link between someone building a short position to take over.? Someone with more knowledge of the short side of things may be able to shed some light, but is it not possible a current large holder could effectively build a stake with out disclosure or are there rules around this.
Just some thoughts, feel free to shoot me down or add some info.
