    Hi Hitched.

    Just for you.

CVI has gone through an almost textbook example of "lady sitting on bare bottom while resting on elbow". The chart above shows it quite beautifully.

Any good charting package will allow you to map this out, however interpretation is also very important.

In this case, we can see that the buttocks not only look well formed but the cleft and the hip size is in good proportion. This is what we chartists call the "supermodel" example of this chart and is the most accurate overall.

It is obvious, as we have just passed the elbow that there will be a continuation of the the arm further up. To adjudge the likely "target price" for this formation, we need to look how far up the buttocks the arm starts its leaning procedure. In this case the arm is well above the buttock - pretty much up to the hip level. The elbow we can also conjecture is likely to be resting on some books - it doesn't come all the way down to the level that the buttocks is resting upon.

So in this situation, as the form is not leaning over, we double distance from the join of the arm and the hips (26.5) down to the elbow (15) - double the distance is 11.5 x 2 = 23 cents. Add this to the elbow, and we have a target before retracement of 38 cents.

Some possible changes to this however could cause the pattern to collapse or change:

  2. should the perspective be wrong, her arm may already be outstretched but not in our current plane. Confirmation is required on the 3rd day after the elbow.

  3. it is possible in some situations for the outstretched hand to be joined to the "happy man" formation. This would fortunate in the extreme, as this would allow the price to rocket skyward unabated.

As you can see hitched, there is an awful lot of science to the process of reading charts.

Hope this helps with your understanding - I'll be buying more tomorrow and looking to sell at 38 cents.
