we all aussme that qbe management is good! but its the nature of the beast , however after listerning to warren buffet on cnbc and how his insurance companies are doing.
then i feel that its time to question the quality of qbe's management. dissasters should be factoried in, insurance is all maths , and now we are having natural dissasters at least once a year of grand scale.all this should have been factoried in, qbe is not a discount store making money on volume, it needs to adjust to current risks levels.
so to return to an 8% margin is not good enough hiccups should produce at least 10% margin
low prices is poor management!!! in their business its like mr norman crying wolf all the time. good management will have the hiccups built in
