I'd argue the opposite. Putin's Russia is a major exporter of commodities, and metals especially Nickel. RSA is now more unreliable and corrupt, Chile not is a pacific ocean of freight away from SE Asia but does have the cheap renewable energy to refine to the end product. So Australia (for Asia), Canada (for Europe) and Chile for both, will be the winners, as the PRC, who could not care less, will continue to buy off everyone (including Russia) at the cheapest price.
