Not to worried during times of recession the best stock get chewed over as do the ones with the best prospects of a re-rate. The big end of town has been doing this for generations. All you can do as a retail investor is do your research and if everything stacks up, ignore all the noise and there will be plenty of that, all trying to unnerve you and get your shares.

If you hold on to your shares, the Big Boys can never own them. This will frustrate them. If enough investors buy and hold a stock because it’s a great company with great growth prospects, then the big end of town will move on.
The Big Boy’s biggest weapon is fear. Fear in the face of an uncertain future.
    If you sell, they win.
    If you hold, you win.
