charts are the ONLY thing that can give you an unbiased opinion of what the herd is thinking.

if you followed fundamentals you would have been scratching your head when AMP began freefalling from $20+ 5 or 6 years ago. likewise recently when CNP and AFG began falling because exposed fundamentals were healthy. the story came out much later....

ignore charts at your own peril. the chart will always highlight a dead rat before the mouse even knows his cheese is missing. likewise a chart can highlight something good is happening!
