I would like to share the thoughts from another poster .
While the price action of many gold equities including BC8 appear to behave contra intuitive, it has to some extend a logical explanation. Its true, that gold is the underlying commodity and the FCF, NPVs move higher when the POG moves up. On the other hand, the physical gold market and gold equity market are different markets with different participants. In the long run, gold equities will naturally move higher when the POG stays high since every at least half sophisticated investor will understand what value these stocks have and what dividends they can pay. But short term, they are influenced by the performance of the general stock market, which is weak and is drifting lower. On top of that there are tremendous amount of investments done on leverage, so that's another factor which may act as a brake for valuable equities including gold equities. What's during these times of the most importance is the fact, that BC8 is already a producer, doesn't need to raise cash in the market through equity issuance so this short term weakness will be overcome and the share price will catch up. Anyway, the main catalysts remain the release of 2,3 and 4Q production and financial figures. GLTA
