The hammer is not as strong as a dragonfly candlestick, but also signals reversal after a down-trend.
Control has shifted from sellers to buyers. The shadow of the candlestick should be at least twice the height of the body.
A long tail signals support.
I'm not going to take it as a reversal with many other indicator's on the slide, i'd be wanting confirmation from other indicators for a change of trend. I'm looking at an overall picture and not that candle. To me it's a bit of an artificial candle, mainly created through the tree shake or dump.
The real question for me is why shake the tree if the indicators are on the turn to the downside? Why would you accumulate more stock if the TA looks sus? Conversely why dump with so much news due? Someone knows something i dont (actually most people do!).
Many would have got stopped out Friday, and it could well be the dumper who cleaned up plenty.
Interesting period of the game. I'm happy to hold and watch the volume.
