It looks like they may have to. The board is keen to try to get a large investor on board. The price of this, rather than taking advantage of the higher price and momentum just a few months ago, is all too painfully clear. Not so smart.
Maybe a smarter, second way given the price collapse would be to follow GMR's line: offer a partial placement to institutional investors and the remainder to all shareholders in the form of a right's issue. In that way, smaller holders will not feel they are missing out and diluted away. All this needs, in my view, is a bit of positive news re. funding and the upward trend will kick in. Fundamentals have not deteriorated. And all said and done, it is but a short 2-3 months until we are advised of improved project economics.
