I suspect that gold and silver has been overbought in the past week, that combined with the end of the month, the US Fed meetings on 28 & 29 July and no announcements has lead to the selling. No doubt as the market takes a breather there will be opportunities before the next leg up.
Next week will reveal if gold and silver are on an upward movement.
