Elliot wave has been around since 1871 apparently and was developed by an accountant named Ralph Elliot . There are a few indicators out there that try to emulate Elliot wave but i havent seen one that really works. Plus, i prefer top do them manually. Elliot wave can be subjective, and individuals are going to have different theories. I always have at least 2, sometimes 3 possible elliot waves on my charts, with one that i prefer or one that is conforming to the rules the closest.
