My view, short term indicators pointing towards a surge up into a medium term decision point. Historically this inflection point slaps price back, hence the downward trend on the higher time frame.
Difficult to make any long term observations as price is range bound within a band of extremes. Short term I'd say there's a good collection of traders doing quite well on high-odds good Risk Return trades - so it's reasonable to expect that these short fluctuations of consolidation, breakout into profit taking/consolidation will play out a few more times.
Some thoughts I've had lately.
The retail hype/hope pump has already played out and it's in my opinion we've seen distribution over the last 20 weeks. Who is going to support the share price moving forward? Why would they? Good questions to ask for those with the means to perform sufficient market analysis and projections.
The story has been out for long enough to draw in interest/liquidity where the traders (big and small) can trade on behavioral economic paradigms (fear, greed, irrational decision making trees) and more technical approaches. With good liquidity (from large cap raises and a willingness for supply/demand to change hands rapidly) there then follows the automated trading strategies. Over a bit of time charts start to show patterns and more predictable trades which leads to engineering of large liquidity pools at really obvious key points. This is where large operators want to finalize their positions as they can do so without impacting the price too negatively against them.
I'm not saying this is hard fact and that I know what is going to happen - this is more just my thought process. But it's clearly decision time. The price structure is too loose to say with confidence what is going to happen so the best I can do is look at history (of other stocks) and how they performed against a simple 30week ema (above).
