XEC is cranking but under the hood it is in select names.
Loads of failed breakouts this week in my watchlist and I have a very small amount of setups I am watching (less than 5).
My feeling is that things are extended
XLE has been on a tear and I read an interesting post suggesting this is leading to a pull back in the general markets for the reason being that energy is going to be profitable due to high energy costs (passed onto the consumer) - and that this is a tell for incoming downward pressure on discretionary spending.
Challenging market conditions for me. Feels like I am watching the end of a race I got shook out of recently.
