Just illustrating the concept I was talking about and how it works (when it works).
Big run on the stops put in place by 'uninformed' shorts and promptly pulls back into the range.
This is a lower time frame chart but the idea is fractal and scales up. Can be used in liquid markets to help inform potential direction and 'targets'.
These small ranges may appear to not be worth your time, but you can have big positions and low risk. 2 or 3 x risk profits are worth pursuing no matter what style you trade.
I'm gonna put it out there that I think the short trade is losing appeal and running out of steam. Looks like a market maker is soaking supply.
