There are a lot of charting programs to chose from. Some free and others cost per month. All have tutorials or helpful explanations of what all the different chart patterns and indicators mean. The charts I use are free but with a 24 hrs delay which is fine for my long term investing and the name is on them. Hint, they are incredible.
There are also books on different charting theory. I found Elliott Wave Theory very interesting.
