Th he market is both a long-term pricing mechanism and especially for commodities has a speculative and emotional component. As my son who has access to all the new buzz phrases and labels one would want to be "reductionist".
As per Kanehman in "Thinking Fast and Slow" aassertd that's what makes the market interesting and holds potential for gains. Although, there is a powerful argument for the 'Efficient Market" theory whereby all information is already in the market and price.
That should have put everyone to sleep or at least cooled of ardent spirits.
