I’d be interested in when they do the buying. Is it discretionary? Is it mandatory? What are the timeframes?
I don’t overly follow this aspect of the buying but knew that our markets would go ballistic today on the back of what happened overseas.
I do often read about month end ‘balancing’ or year end or tax time etc. The recent pause and drop was on the back of the cap raising but also some of those funds had to sell down to pay off dividends.
It would seem it’s clear sailing and a few funds are sitting right near breakout point (of last night wasn’t quite it)
Im eagerly awaiting tonight in the US. If those funds and sector go big again we will go through $5.30 tomorrow.
