Not subscribing to luck within a plan is not the same as not understanding its contribution or denying it is place.
When I fly in a plane, I'd prefer the engineers have negated luck of a safe flight to zero by mitigating all possible scenarios', but of course we know that is impossible and sometimes luck plays a part in the outcome. Nonetheless, flight has the highest probability of safe travel simply because there is deliberate and conscious effort to make it so.
I think in probabilities, not aggregated outcomes that play out in a general data set over a long period of time. There's a material difference in a trading plan.
