As I mentioned in a different thread I hold currently 4.5m BOE and I am playing with my hard earned personal money. I am not a fund manager just an average guy. Roughly I dropped $9m when the directors sold their shares. In spite of that I am still holding rock solid (I trade a few 100,000) because I believe in the company.
People need to look at the total picture. BOE closed at $5.36 on the night of the 27th May then after the announcement the next day they took a dive. If you look at the graph below the short sellers were buyers on the second day wanting to cover. When they realized how negative people reacted and figure they would jump on board and kick the shit out of the stock big time. They have sold 6.7m shares since the 27th May, their current exposer to BOE is 20.7m shares. If they have to get out at $6 as opposed to $4 they will lose $41m.
The long winded answer is they will be pushing the price up next so start buying before they do. It wasn't Duncan and his team that moved the price from $5.36 to $4 its was the short sellers and the sheep who followed.
